- What is counted
- Which page was viewed, when, the referring website, an approximate location (country and city, derived by the hosting provider), the network or organisation the visit came from, and the device and browser type.
- What is never stored
- Your IP address. It is used once to derive an anonymous, one-way visitor code and then discarded. No cookies are set, no advertising trackers are loaded, and nothing is sold or shared.
- Opting out
- Visits from browsers that send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals are not recorded at all.
- Why
- To understand whether the portfolio and writing are useful, and which work people read.
